Hello card

Today I would like to share a card I made "case-ing" Jennifer McGuire (her post is here). This card came together so quick, and uses the Hero Arts Hello Sunshine Daisies stamp set.

I don't have any plain rectangle dies in my collection, so I used a stitched rectangle set from My Favorite Things, and I think it turned out pretty good.

For more information, you can visit me here.

Poetic Petal Georgia O'Keeffe style

Hello,

Cindy here.  How are you doing?  I'd bet you heard of Georgia O'Keeffe and her famous floral painting where she zooms into the center of a bloom.  I thought I mimic that effect on my card.

Our challenge for February is Red or Pink in your project.  I've decided to color one of the flowers in the Hero Art Poetic Petal Digital Kit in warm pink.

To give more attention to the flower center, I used my VersaMarker to highlight certain parts, and heat embossed with Gold glitter emboss powder.

Supplies:

Copic Markers (Y15,Y17,YR18,R14,R39,RV04,YG00,YG25)
VersaMarker

Our sponsor this month is one of my favorites, Hero Arts.

Come join in the fun and play along our challenge.

Kids Birthday Cards

So I am the mum of two school age kids and I find I don't get much notice when it comes to their birthday party invites - could be that they leave them in their bags until the week before. So I thought it would be great to have some simple kids birthday cards on hand so they were ready to go anytime. I thought the new
would be perfect for this.

Be Happy Butterfly.

Hi there.   Dawn back again to share a card using our Sponsor's product.... and in this month's challenge theme... Using Pink or Red.

We are lucky to have Hero Arts as our sponsor this month.  One of our lucky entrants will win a $25 gift voucher to spend in the Hero Arts store... and how exciting is that.   The wonderful Jennifer McGuire recently did a video showing all the latest release.  SEE HERE.

My card using an older Hero Arts stamp and cut set that has this beautiful butterfly stamp and die

I embossed my white background with an all over butterfly design (very hard to see in my photo)
Here's a better look

I stamped and coloured my butterfly with Copics and die cut him out.  I added a lot of wink of stella glitter and used the excess pink on my brush to add to the centre of the embossed butterflies.
My sentiment comes from the Be Happy stamp set - another of my older Hero Art sets.

I'm ecstatic to see so many wonderful entries this month.  Thanks to everyone who has entered.... and over half the month still to go...

Classic Valentine

Welcome back!!

Cindy here to share a classic Valentine's Day card.  I received a lovely Cut and Emboss Folder (die cut and embossing folder all in one) for my Secret Santa exchange (Hero Arts Flickr group) from Heather; it is so pretty and I can't resist playing with it.

Our sponsor this month is Hero Arts!

And the challenge theme is Use Red or Pink in your project.

The dry embossing is really pretty, and the heart shape cut out draw your attentions to the focal sentiment.  I stamp and clear heat emboss sentiment and rose from the Hero Arts Clear Stamp - Love by Lia set inside the cut out.  Then layer the embossed panel over with foam adhesive.  And voila!!  If you're thinking that I have the word 'forever' inside, you'd be absolutely correct!!  :)

Supplies:

Stop by my blog, I have another card to share there created using the same Cut and Emboss Folder.  Would love to hear from you.

One of My Favorite Stamps and Dies from 2016

I had two very favorite stamps and dies sets from 2016.  The coffee cups and cuts offer so many possibilities that I want to use them year round.  Then I couldn't put down this poinsettia stamp, either using it with the outline die or all three dies.  I've used this die on boxes and cards and am still loving the versatility.  I guess I have a start on next Christmas.  I kept it rather simple here.  You can't see the paper I stamped this on, no matter how many times I tried to catch swirls in this swirly pearlescent paper. The honey colored panel is a bit shiny too.

Sew Nice

Welcome! For my project today, I'm using a Hero Arts Digital kit called Make it Your Own-

My grandmother was a professional seamstress, my mother sewed almost as much as her mom, and I've followed the family tradition by sewing too! I love to make clothes that are different from store bought, and this digital pack from Hero Arts brought back so many memories of being a little girl in one giant sewing room.

For more information on the materials I used on this card, please visit me here.

Bunny Card

Hi there.

I had fun with this cute little card.  I'm still having fun colouring with Prismacolour pencils

Once I coloured the image, I used a spellbinder label die to cut it out and while the die was still in place, I did some sponging with Tumbled Glass distress ink.  I cut the cut down to a smaller sized one and made an envelope to fit it.

Loving all the beautiful entries this month.    Thanks to every one for taking part in our challenges.

Sasayaki Digitals At Play

My first card is created with the digi stamp Heart Bunny.  I like calling her honey bunny. I couldn't help but dress her in pink and add a wonderful embossed background which a fellow stamper sent me with her Christmas card.

I focus on Gamer Shy digi stamp and created a cute gamer guy card (tongue sticking out and everything).  You can send this to your gamer guy friends.

Supplies other than the digi stamps:
Elizabeth Craft Designs Stittched Rectangle Die-cuts:
Sequins on first card
